What SAMI is
A council of AI models that plans, writes and reviews code in your workspace.
SAMI is a desktop app in which a council of AI models plans, writes and reviews code in your own workspace. The models you select work on the same task together: they challenge each other's proposals, and every stage of the work ends with a vote of the whole council before the next one starts.
Where things happen
All AI work happens in the desktop app: the War Room, the editor, the terminal and your files. The web dashboard is for your account (plan, billing, team) and a read-only replay of every run. It never runs AI.
Who does what
Every model you select is a Guardian with an equal vote in every stage. For each stage, SAMI gives two of them an extra duty:
- Lead: coordinates the stage and announces its outcome. The Lead has no extra vote.
- Writer: the only member that changes files or runs commands.
With a single model, that model carries every duty itself.
How a task flows
- You describe the task in the War Room.
- The council asks what it needs to know, until the task is clear.
- It works through five stages. Each one ends with a yes/no vote of the whole council.
- The Writer changes files in your workspace, within the approval level you set.
- You review the result, and keep it or undo it.
What you need
An account, the desktop app, and credits. Paid plans add credits every month; the Free plan is a one-time trial. Plans and what they include are on Pricing.
