Getting started
Create an account, install the desktop app and run your first task.
Create an account
Register on the sign-up page. During early access, registration may be limited; if it is, join the waitlist on the Download page.
Install the desktop app
The desktop app isn't publicly available yet. Join the waitlist on the Download page and we'll email you when your installer is ready.
Sign in
Open the Command Palette (Ctrl+Shift+P, or Cmd+Shift+P on macOS) and run Sign In to SAMI. Your browser opens to confirm the sign-in and hands the session back to the app. To sign in inside the app instead, run Sign In to SAMI with Email and Password.
First launch
The War Room opens in the side panel on the right, and a short setup walks you through the basics. It shows your plan and explains that SAMI starts at autonomy level 1, where every tool call asks for your approval first; Set Autonomy Level changes that.
Pick your council with Configure Council Models, or leave the selection empty and SAMI picks a balanced default set for your plan. Start using SAMI sends a short demo task.
Run your first task
Describe what you want in the War Room composer and press Enter. Answer the council's questions, then approve or confirm stages as your autonomy level asks (see Autonomy and approvals).
Review the result
SAMI: Open Run Changes shows every file the run changed next to its version from before the run. To take the changes back, use ↩ Undo run in Tool Audit.
