Run any command from the Command Palette by typing its name.

Settings
SAMI: Open Settings lists every SAMI setting; search for a key to jump to it.

sami.view.verbosity | full | How much detail the War Room shows: full, compact or minimal. |
sami.liveCostMeter.enabled | true | Show the live cost of a running run. |
sami.liveCostMeter.budgetWarnUsd | 0 | Warn once when a run’s cost reaches this amount in US dollars. 0 turns it off. The warning never stops a run. |
sami.toolAutoApprove | [] | Tools you chose to always allow. |
sami.tools.commandAllowlist | [] | Exact commands you chose to always allow. Used at levels 2 and 3 only. |
sami.tools.commandClassifier | false | At levels 2 and 3, a quick model check may let an unlisted command run without asking. A convenience, not a safety boundary: blocked commands stay blocked. |
sami.privacy.localObservabilityLogs.enabled | true | Keep a local diagnostic log. It never contains chat content, prompts or code. |
sami.privacy.warRoomChatTranscriptLog.enabled | false | Keep a local War Room transcript for support. It can include prompts, code and model output. |
sami.telemetry.enabled | false | Send anonymous crash and error reports, without file or chat content. |
